Our dedicated patient care team are trained to discuss your appointment needs in depth. They will be able to guide you on the most appropriate specialist for your child’s needs and advise you on current schedule availability.
Once you are happy with your chosen Specialist, our team are on hand to book your appointment. Upon booking we require a deposit payment of £150 to be made. Please note, your booking is not secure without your deposit. The remaining balance will be paid upon arrival to the clinic for your appointment
To maximise your upcoming appointment, we ask for you to complete all of our health questionnaires with as much detail as possible. This will enable the consultant to prepare for your appointment in good time and maximise your time within the appointment. You will receive your questionnaires by email and SMS.
The appointment with your chosen specialist will last for approximately 90 minutes. We appreciate this can be daunting so if you would like to schedule for the initial appointment to be split into 2 appointments, please make our Patient Care Team aware. Within your appointment, the consultant will review your previous history and discuss this with you in thorough detail. Upon completion of your assessment, the consultant will confirm your child’s ADHD diagnosis if applicable – you will receive your full report via email.
Your diagnosis is the first stage of your journey. Your follow up appointment is designed to help navigate your options moving forward, including medication options and a Shared Care Agreement to enable the NHS to take over your care. Please note, if deemed necessary ADHD medication needs to be closely monitored. Once the Consultant has discussed medication and dosage, our team at House of Health will perform blood testing at week 6, month 3 and month 12. ECG’s will also be performed to ensure you are taking the correct dosage. Once the psychiatrist is happy with your progress and if you wish to be discharged to your NHS GP this will be arranged via Shared care agreement. Follow-Up appointments will be at an additional cost to your initial appointment.
