Dr. Sobia Arshad is a highly experienced consultant endocrinologist at House of Health, where she is available to see patients for a wide range of endocrine conditions. She specializes in thyroid disorders, prenatal endocrinology, gestational diabetes, weight management, endocrine-related infertility, and metabolic syndrome. In addition to her role at House of Health, she also privately practices at The Sloane Hospital and holds an NHS position at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
She is also an expert in hormone health with regards to anabolic steroid and performance enhancing drug users.
Dr. Arshad is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care, research, education, and training. She treats both inpatients and outpatients for various complex endocrine conditions, including Addison’s disease, hyperaldosteronism (Conn’s syndrome), phaeochromocytoma, and hypothyroidism amongst many others.
Dr. Arshad pursued further medical qualifications, obtaining two MRCP certifications from the Royal College of Physicians—one in medicine and another in endocrinology. She completed her specialist training in Kent and Sussex, gaining expertise in the full spectrum of endocrine disorders.
Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and she frequently shares her knowledge at national and international conferences, patient support groups, and medical seminars.
Dr. Arshad also plays a key role in the Thyroid Multidisciplinary Team at Princess Royal University Hospital, Bromley, and mentors postgraduate students in endocrinology.
